JAY Z & BEYONCE DROPPING NEW ALBUM EXCLUSIVELY ON TIDAL

While the new streaming service from Jay Z is currently suffering, Hov will look to shake things up a bit with a very big exclusive release coming later this year. DJ Skee has revealed that Jay and Beyonce are just about finished recording their collab album, and that the new LP will be released exclusively to the Tidal streaming service. Let’s hope this roll out turns out better than Magna Carta Holy Grail, which saw a similar release that experienced some bugs. More below:

NELLY TO RELEASE A COUNTRY EP TITLED “HEARTLAND”

Nelly is trying to get that country music money. We all remember the success he had with Tim McGraw on Over & Over, as well as his feature on Florida Georgia Line’s Cruise. Now he’s taking it a step further and releasing a full fledged Country EP. Speaking with Billboard, Nelly’s manager J. Erving had this to say:

“He’s a free agent on the label side now, and is working on a country-based ‘Heartland’ EP, which should be really interesting. He may be one of the first hip-hop artists to jump into that space in an authentic way with Florida Georgia Line and Tim McGraw, so we think he has an opportunity to grow that base even more.”

Yikes.

Add it to the already fire list of projects we’ve gotten and plan to get this year. Peep the video below!

KANYE WEST ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM “SO HELP ME GOD”

Kanye West has been debuting a lot of new music recently, so we knew the album was just around the corner. Tonight, Ye took to twitter to announce the title of his new album, So Help Me God, and tweeted this picture with it. We’re not sure if this is the official album cover or not, but we’ll assume it is for the time being.

Drake surpasses his previous record for the most concurrently-charting songs — 14 — which he matched a week ago (on the chart dated Feb. 25) following the debut of his album.
The new songs enter off the strength of downloads and streaming, with every track from the set logging no less than 1.8 million U.S. streams in the week ending Feb. 22, according to Nielsen Music. Of the album’s tracks, “Energy” leads the pack, taking Streaming Gainer honors and increasing by 201 percent (to 4.6 million clicks), with 82 percent stemming from Spotify plays. Sales of the cut also rise (up 21 percent to 77,000 downloads), driving it 4-1 on Rap Digital Songs — his first No. 1 as a lead act (and fourth overall) on the still-young chart.
Of his latest arrivals on the chart, “Know Yourself” earns the Hot Shot Debut at No. 23, owed in part to a 13 percent spike in downloads (to 15,000).
If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late remains at No. 1 on R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, selling 129,000 copies in its second week (down 74 percent). The momentum of the new project secures a second week atop the Billboard Artist 100, where Drake became the first rapper to earn a No. 1 spot.
Here are Drake’s 21 titles on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs (dated March 7, 2015):
No. 4 – “Only,” Nicki Minaj, featuring Drake, Lil Wayne & Chris Brown
No. 5 – “Truffle Butter,” Nicki Minaj, featuring Drake & Lil Wayne
No. 9 – “Energy”
No. 16 – “Tuesday,” ILoveMakonnen, featuring Drake

Drake Vs Lil Wayne - Camden, NJ
Billboard has broken the news on Drake’s latest accomplishment. Go ahead and add this to his list of accolades. They report:
Drake rules 42 percent of the 50-position Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart (dated March 7), as the hip-hop star has 21 concurrent songs on the tally — breaking his own record for the most simultaneously charting hits in the history of the chart. (The new chart will be refreshed on Billboard’s websites on Thursday, Feb. 26.)
Seven more tracks from his surprise album If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late debut on the newest chart, joining the 10 already-charting cuts from the set. Thus, all 17 tracks from Drake’s album are charting on the tally.

KANYE WEST WITH THE REAL GEM BREAKFAST CLUB

Kanye is full of nothing but fire hot takes, as per usual. I don’t want to give too much of a summary of this interview, as I think it’s worth watching. Also Kanye west own the heartthrob of Low Statue at the Grammy's, but his instinct still reign though.
